Usage

Many varieties of bitter orange are used for their essential oil, and are found in perfume, used as a flavoring or as a solvent. The Seville orange variety is used in the production of marmalade.

Bitter orange is also employed in herbal medicine as a stimulant and appetite suppressant, due to its active ingredient, synephrine. Bitter orange supplements have been linked to a number of serious side effects and deaths, and consumer groups advocate that people avoid using the fruit medically. It is still not concluded if bitter orange affects medical conditions of heart and cardiovascular organs, by itself or in formulae with other substances.

Echium amoenum is a biennial or perennial herb indigenous to the narrow zone of northern part of Iran and Caucasus, where it grows at an altitude ranging from 60 to 2200 m  in Alborz mountains. It is one of the important medicinal herbs in traditional Iranian medicine.

The essential oil of Echium amoenum Fisch. & C.A. Mey. (Boraginaceae) collected from the suburb of Sari, north of Iran, in June 2004, was isolated by hydrodistillation and analyzed by means of GC and GC/MS. Forty-six components were identified in the this oil. The major constituents of the essential oil were thymol (19.5%) and carvacrol (7.5%).

Stachys  byzantina (syn. S. lanata; lamb's-ear  or woolly hedgenettle) is a species of Stachys, native to Turkey, Armenia, and Iran.^[4][5] It is cultivated over much of the temperate world as an ornamental plant, and is naturalised in some locations as an escapee from gardens. Plants are very often found under the synonym Stachys lanata or Stachys  olympica.

Lamb's-ear flowers in late spring and early summer; plants produce tall spike-like stems with a few reduced leaves. The flowers are small and light purple. The plants tend to be evergreen but can "die" back during cold winters and regenerate new growth from the crowns.

it grows in javaherdeh & mountains  of Ramsar in the west Mazandaran  province.
