Student Body Language” is based on the idea that even in the age of the internet; most of the student’s success will depend upon skill in face-to-face human communication. His program is an exciting and fun exploration of the way we communicate beyond words. In it, Christopher teaches students how to be better listeners, how to correctly interpret the non-verbal signs others give off, and more important, how to use their own body language to create the best possible impression every time. “Student Body Language” is more than just a lecture.

As you observe others, you can identify some common signs and signals that give away whether they are feeling confident or not. Typical things to look for in confident people include:

• Posture – standing tall with shoulders back.
• Eye contact – solid with a 'smiling' face.
• Gestures with hands and arms – purposeful and deliberate.
• Speech – slow and clear.
• Tone of voice – moderate to low.

کاربردهای فعل to have

فعل Have در زبان انگلیسی به چند شکل مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد. در اینجا کاربردهای مهم آن را مورد توجه قرار خواهیم داد.

To Have - فعل اصلی

از فعل have برای صحبت از مالکیت بر اشیاء، ویژگی های شخصیتی، روابط یا دیگر کیفیت ها استفاده می شود.

مثال ها:

He has three books by Hemingway.
Jane has a sister in France.
Frank has a lot of free time these days.

Have Got

Have got در زبان انگلیسی بریتانیایی برای بیان مالکیت بر اشیاء، مشخصه ها و رابطه ها و دیگر ارتباط ها بکار می رود.

مثال ها:

He's got some friends in Wales.
He's got red hair and freckles.
Alice has got three cousins.

To Have - فعل اصلی

از have در اصطلاحاتی استفاده می شود که برخی از آنها در اینجا بیان شده است.

have a bath, wash, shower, etc.
have breakfast, lunch, dinner
have fun
have time available
have questions
have a party
have a walk, hike, ride, etc.
have a discussion, fight, argument etc.

مثال ها:

Erica is having a bath at the moment.
We're going to have a party next week.
She usually has breakfast at seven o'clock.

To Have - فعل کمکی

از have در ساخت بسیاری از زمان ها استفاده می شود. به خاطر داشته باشید که افعال کمکی صرف می شوند. بنابراین فعل have بسته به فاعل جمله تغییر خواهد کرد. در اینجا مروری سریع خواهیم داشت بر زمان هایی که در ساخت آمها از have استفاده شده است.

زمان حال کامل: He has been to Georgia twice.

زمان حال کامل استمراری : They have been waiting for over an hour.

زمان گذشته کامل: He had already eaten when she arrived.

زمان گذشته کامل استمراری: Jane had been working for two hours when he telephoned.

زمان آینده کامل: They will have been gone for four hours by two o'clock.

زمان آینده کامل استمراری: Max will have been playing the piano for two hours by the time he finishes.

To Have To Do - حالت کمکی

to have to do برای عملی استفاده می شود که لزوم انجام آن مورد توجه است. از آن در مورد صحبت از مسئولیت ها در زندگی صحبت می کنیم. این فعل حالتی مانند فعل must دارد ولی در هنگام صحبت از مسئولیت ها استفاده می شود. از must در مورد صحبت از اجبارهای شخصی مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد. (I must talk to Peter. It's important). از will have to do برای صحبت از اجبار در زمان آینده استفاده می شود. از don't/didn't have to do برای عملی استفاده می شود که لزومی برای انجام آن وجود ندارد ولی انجام آن محتمل است. mustn't برای انجام عملی مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد که ممنوع است.

مثال های زمان حال:

Doug has to get up early every day.
They have to work hard on Saturdays.
She doesn't have to go to work on Saturdays. (It's possible, but not necessary)

مثال های زمان گذشته:

They had to leave early to catch the flight.
Jennifer had to explain the situation to Peter.
I didn't have to go to the meeting in Dallas. (I could have gone, but it wasn't necessary)

مثال های زمان آینده:

He will have to get up early tomorrow.
Janice will have to decide whether she wants to marry him or not.
They won't have to purchase any additional materials. (They can, but it's not required.)

To Have Something Happen / Happening - تجارب - Have + object(s) + base form of verb / -ing form

این فرم برای بیان تجربیاتی است که واقع شده اند.

مثال ها:

We have people visit us all the time.
Sherry had her children playing in the garden.

To Have Something Done - قرار و مدار - Have + object(s) + past participle

برای صحبت از چیزهایی از آن استفاده می شود که شما ترتیب آنها را داده اید. این شکل به عنوان حالت سببی نیز شناخته می شود.

مثال ها:

She had them delivered to her home.
We had Jack promoted to director.
